Stationary Hoppers and Bins

Grasan will custom-design and build surge, storage, and blending bins or complete feed systems for virtually all kinds of bulk materials, such as: sand/gravel, aggregates, coal, coke, and slag. They can be designed from scratch or to meet your specifications for new or existing facilities and can be furnished with a variety of vibratory and belt feeders, or clam gate outlets. Typical applications are quarries, power plants, and steel mills. In quarries, surge bins are often used to temporarily store materials coming from the primary crusher and feed them at the proper rate into secondary and tertiary crushers. In other applications, the bins are used for longer-term, cumulative storage and as feed hoppers for railroad cars, trucks, boats, and barges.  Crasan can integrate load cells into bins for weighing and batching systems.

Grasan can also supply and integrate conveyors, stackers, screening plants, crushers, and any other auxiliary equipment, plus manual or computerized controls for all or part of your system.
