KR1515 Impactor Crushing Plant Wins
Two "Top 100" Awards
In 1994, two highly-respected trade publications, Construction
Equipment and Equipment World, each gave the road-portable Grasan KR1515
their annual "Top 100" new products award. The KR1515 qualified for these
prestigious awards by impressing two of the toughest and most objective, knowledgeable,
and discerning groups of judges you'll ever find: magazine editors and readers. it is
important to note, also, that Grasan had not run an advertising campaign in either
publication.
Chosen by editors. The editors of Construction
Equipment chose the KR1515 from more than 1500 new construction-related products
introduced in 1994. The criteria included productivity, cost control, safety, and
efficiency. "The awards single out manufacturers who continue to invest in research
and development for the benefit of our readers," said editor Kirk Landers.
Manufacturers are asked to submit detailed information on their nominated products before
the final selections are made.
Chosen by readers. Equipment World
chose the KR1515 based on reader response to many hundreds of products described in the
publication's news editorial throughout 1994.
KR1010 Compact Rubble Plant Wins
Three "Top 100" Awards
When it was introduced in 1996, the compact and highly-mobile
Grasan KR1010 impactor crushing plant qualified to a remarkable total of three "Top
100" new product awards given by two of the construction industry's top trade
publications: Equipment World and Construction Equipment. The judges
were some of the world's most knowledgeable and credible people: editors and readers of
the magazines. It should be noted that Grasan had not run an advertising campaign in
either publication.
Chosen twice by readers. Equipment
World selects their "Top 100" on the basis of reader interest in the many
hundreds of new products described in the publication's news throughout the year. The
magazine ran an editorial on the KR1010 early in 1996 when Grasan announced the product as
it was still on the drawing board, then ran a more detailed article six months later when
the prototype was introduced. Both times, the KR1010 scored so high in reader responses
that it qualified to two of the "Top 100" awards given out in 1996.
Chosen by editors. The editors of Construction
Equipment selected the KR1010 from more than 1500 new construction-related products
introduced in 1996. The criteria included safety, productivity, cost control, and
efficiency. Products were first nominated by a panel of editors. The editors then made
their final selection on the basis of detailed information submitted by the manufacturers. |
