Aggregate crushing. Grasan designs and builds complete crushing, screening, conveying, stacking, and feed/storage systems for quarry operations of all types and sizes. Quarry systems utilize primary jaw or impact crusher plants in combination with secondary and tertiary cone, and vertical shaft & horizontal shaft impact crushers. Primary impactors often do not require a secondary crusher dues to their large reduction ratio, often as much as 30 to 1 in closed circuit. Grasan can design a whole system from the ground up. Or, we can integrate new/used equipment and systems into existing facilities for upgrading or expansion.

Concrete recycling. In 1985, Grasan lead the industry in developing equipment and systems for recycling concrete, asphalt, and C&D (construction and demolition) debris. The company now has more experience than any other manufacturer in engineering and building impactor recycling plants, which have become the quality standard of the industry. Grasan recycling systems often pay for themselves before their owners have completed their first projects. Grasan has introduced numerous equipment/system innovations over the years. And all recycling plants utilize Hazemag primary impact crushers designed especially for recycling. Over 60,000 Hazemag recycling impactors have been sold since the 1940's.

Glass recycling. Grasan is the leading U.S. manufacturer of glass cullet recycling systems. We have designed and manufactured a variety of recycling plants for companies such as Owens-Brockway, Foster-Forbes, Latchford Glass, Anchor Glass, Ball-Incon, Miller Brewing, and Anheuser Busch. More than 30 Grasan plants are now operating.

Standard, custom, or total systems engineering. We can design and manufacture to your specifications and/or job application. We can interface with your existing operation or provide a completely independent facility, indoors or out, from concept to start-up. Grasan engineers will investigate equipment, processes, and recent developments and innovations related to your project. We can assist in material analyses, crushing tests, system capacity checks, or whatever is required in your case. We can create flow charts to show how the system will work, including all components and their production capacities. We specify equipment, itemize costs, and any options are spelled out to show cost versus benefit. We use CAD-CAM technology to design and build your system. We're on your job site for assembly and start-up. We provide operation and maintenance manuals, custom written for your system. And we can train your production and service personnel.
