This 47-year-old company provides crushing, screening, and conveying services in their customers' quarries and sand/gravel pits in southern Michigan and parts of Indiana. In 1995, Cole Brothers had an urgent need for a heavy-duty, road-portable screening plant, custom-designed for their special needs.

Gary Moline: "Grasan engineered and built a screening plant for us with 19 custom features in about the same time as building an off-the-shelf model, and at little additional cost. Most manufacturers either won't or can't do that. Our Grasan plant is rugged, dependable, efficient, and easy to maintain. We move to ten or twelve different job sites per year. our Grasan screen plant sets up and tears down quickly and is fully road-portable. Our next screen will also be a Grasan."

Cole Brothers' 6' x 20' triple-deck horizontal screen includes a three-shaft, between-deck drive unit, side discharge conveyor, under-screen fines conveyors, oversize second and top decks, extra heavy-duty frame and walkways on three sides. The plant incorporates custom screen angle, hopper design, and conveyor width. Travel height is only 13'-6".
